I'm tired of cleaning spam out of my livejournal, so I've turned off the ability to leave anonymous comments.

And as long as I am in public service announcement mode, remember that it's always open season here. Anyone can friend me or unfriend me at any time, and I promise I won't read anything into it.

Exactly. When recaptcha failed to keep it down to a level that I consider reasonable, I had to turn things off.
