pbrayAfter being incredibly productive over the weekend, yesterday and today I slowed a bit, accomplishing only 1,500 words on each day. Part of the problem was that I wasn't quite sure what I wanted this chapter to accomplish, and where I needed to go next.
At one point, I was debating whether two of my characters were sleeping together, and the thought that occurred to me was "I should ask![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jennifer_dunne and she'll know."
Yes. When in doubt, ask your critique partner if your characters are having sex. This, my friends, is the sign of a true writer...
...or of one that needs a tad more caffeine.
Anyway, I managed to answer that question without Jennifer's help, and figured out the rough bones of the next few scenes, so I'm feeling rather accomplished. It's been raining on and off all day here, so no biking was done, and the fireworks tonight appear to be in doubt. But there's the matinee of Transformers to look forward to, yay!
