Still can't find a damn thing
Dec. 17th, 2005 07:56 pmOrganizing the computer room is on the very top of my list of things to do while I have time off over the holidays. However today is apparently not one of those days, since I didn't get a darn thing done in here. I did however manage to write and braved the stores to get in some Christmas shopping. I have high hopes that one more trip tomorrow and I'll be all done.
Writing: 2,160 words today. The damn funeral is over, and action has now shifted to our second major character, as Lady Ysobel fights to regain her former status.
Reading: Still reading FOREVER ODD.
Watching: Caught pieces of the Lord of the Rings trilogy over the past few nights, as they have been featured on the various movie channels. Think I need to make time over the holidays for serious indulgence, and watch all three DVD sets in order.
Shopping: Missing internet package arrived last night. Piles of gifts in living room, ready to be wrapped and shipped to various out of state family & friends.
Coolest toy ever: Received an early Christmas gift from
jennifer_dunne who gave me an Executive Sandbox - Construction Zone edition. This office toy has construction equipment, sand, boulders, gravel, a rake and a shovel. Perfect for relieving stressful days and enlivening those endless teleconferences. Picture here behind the cut:
