Feeling triumphant at having wrestled with CSS and finished updating my RWA chapter's website (http://members.aol.com/starrwa). I should note that the graphics were put together by
jennifer_dunne since I am clueless when it comes to graphics manipulation programs.
The website now looks circa 2005, versus the old site which was circa 1999 design sensibilities. Content still being developed, but for now it looks good.
And we're making great progress on our fall writers' conference. So far we have confirmed Sherrilyn Kenyon, Mary Janice Davidson and Leslie Wainger from Harlequin/Silhouette as our featured guests. Choosing to hold the conference in Ithaca (Finger Lakes) has paid off in attracting speakers. Still hammering out the details for the weekend such as the Friday night extra session. (Wine tasting? Coffee house & desserts event?) It provides a great excuse to visit Ithaca as we try out the various restaurants and venues.
