STAR Writers Conference, September 12th, 2009

Wanted to pass along word that STAR will be holding a one day writer's conference on September 12th at the Treadway Inn in Owego, NY. (Owego is about 25 minutes west of Binghamton, or about 45 minutes south of Ithaca, or 587 miles from Duck, North Carolina, but I digress.)

STAR is a chapter of RWA, but the conference focus is multi-genre, including presentations on screenwriting, science fiction and fantasy, young adult fiction, as well as romance. Anyone is welcome to attend, for more information see the conference web page: http://starrwa.org/conference/.

Duck, on the Outer Banks, which is where I'd like to be right about now.

I'm a member of the STAR chapter but not involved in this year's conference, since I was already committed to biking that weekend. But jpsorrow is one of the speakers.
