Heavy rain is falling, demolishing the snowpack, and thus our area is under a flood warning. The melted snow has transformed into giant puddles in the backyard, so I'll be spending much of today keeping an eye on my basement. Then, to add insult to injury, later today the precipitation is supposed to change over and dump 6-10 inches of snow.

Do not want.

Since suffering seems to be the theme of the day, I'm going to round it off by working on my taxes.

Is there any way to get some flow going through a garden hose to lower the size of the water in the backyard?

Sending good thoughts on all fronts--or backs, as the case may be.
