[livejournal.com profile] fireun brought a camera to WFC and documented some (but fortunately not all) of the hijinks that occurred. I think my favorites are the panel photos-- Manic!Patricia is manic, while Serious!Joshua looks every inch the professor.

When we weren't at the convention hotel, we were at bars, which perhaps explains why Joshua and April are smiling.

Manic!Patricia is manic

Must go with administering DBs; every DBs administrator I've known has a manic side to them. ;-)

Which brewpub was that?

That was Gordon Biersch, and I'm trying the sampler, then later had a pint of the Märzen. My favorite brewpub was Barley's, where everyone became addicted to the sauerkraut balls.

Just thought you should know my kitten somehow managed to bookmark this page by walking on my keyboard. Clearly, he knows what's what, and like a good writer's cat, is reminding me of writerly things I should aspire to, like autograph sessions and beer.

Lovely photos. :)

[livejournal.com profile] fireun and Avery Shade captured the spirit of the con perfectly.

LOL at Manic!Patricia (and only slightly less at Serious!Joshua -- sorry, [livejournal.com profile] jpsorrow ;^)).

I hear that WFC will be in Toronto again in a couple of years. So I thought I should point out that Toronto has a lot of really good beer...

::rubs hands gleefully::

Good, that should give me just about enough time to scout out brew pubs ;^)

I wish I'd been able to get to that panel. (I was talking to The Agent at the time.)

It was great fun. Apparently the earlier panel on epic fantasy was also very well done, but I missed that one due to an agent meeting of my own.

I'll be hitting either Boskone or Lunacon, but likely not both. Need to do some schedule juggling.

Random trip up to Bing would be cool. You could crash at Josh's in the loft-of-books.
