Hey, what happened while I was in Oz?

Back home after spending four days down at Corp HQ. 10-hour days spent in strategy meetings, with evenings spent catching up on all the normal day job stuff that still needed to be done.

In a fit of optimism, I'd I spent fifteen minutes picking out which books to bring along on trip, then didn't even crack one open.

I've only skimmed friendlist and have undoubtedly missed much. Also missed what was happening in the world outside the corporate bubble-- I believe this week featured some kind of winter sporting event, but haven't seen newspaper or watched news in days.

Looking forward to weekend and a chance to return to my regularly scheduled life.

CNBC broadcast curling last night--I caught US men then later on when I turned TV back on it was the Canadian women competing against Denmark, I believe.
