Graham was the best man at jennifer_dunne's wedding in August, where he was casually introduced as "This is Graham, he writes screenplays. And oh yeah, he directs indie movies, and worked with Nichelle Nichols in his last film."

It was fun to hang out with him, and at the reception Graham, jpsorrow and I spent less time talking about the happy couple than we did chatting about the differences between screenplays and novels, and promoting movies versus books. Sadly he's based in Atlanta, which means he can't hang out with us regularly, but I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point in the future, likely at a genre con.

How very cool indeed! I know Graham has done some Atlanta area writing stuff--he spoke at an Atlanta writers group over the summer, so keep your eyes peeled he may pop-up.

I came up with the tag line Honeybear used in the online review of the torturer ... "Imagine Dexter with military training"

A very cool tagline, indeed. Except, of course, Dexter follows a code that says he can only torture and kill bad people, those who have (or will) escape traditional justice.
