This Saturday is free comic book day. Neither [livejournal.com profile] jpsorrow nor I write comic books, but never ones to let petty details stop us, we'll be appearing at Fat Cat Books in Johnson City (at their new location on Avenue B). While comic fans line up for free stuff, hopefully they'll feel like buying a novel. Or two. Or the couple of dozen or so it's going to take to cover the pre-signing bar bill at The Lost Dog.

Look for us at Fat Cat Books starting around 12:30.

We're usually better at the fun part than we are at the peddling part... although we're both good at pedaling.

A new one? I'm almost afraid to think about it. The first one was so perfect (and so perfectly 1980s), not quite sure how any new film can live up to it.

Well it will either be awesome or something that needs to be seen with beers and nachos :-)

At one point I think I had the movie dialogue memorized. But it's been a while, although I still go around saying things like "There is no Patricia, there is only Zul."

"I know all that about Zul, but what's he doing in my refrigerator?"

The most-quoted line in my family was, "Next time someone asks you if you're a god, say *yes*!" (We had more than one D&D campaign in which it came up.)

Have fun at your signing. I wish I could come, but what else would I do in the Square Deal Town?
