Congratulations to all those who survived NaNoWriMo 2008! It's been great fun to watch the NaNoWriMo winner icons popping up on friendslist, and I hope you're all taking a well deserved day off to celebrate.

I learned about this a few days after November 1st and I was totally excited to hear about it!

I started writing my book on Oct. 26th and I'm not even CLOSE to the middle so, I'm glad I didn't decide to join. I would have been the joke of the day. lol

Did you participate in the event??

I didn't participate--pesky day job makes that kind of writing pace impossible for me. But I'm thinking of signing up for a round of [livejournal.com profile] novel_in_90 starting January 1st. The Nin90 goal is 750 words a day for ninety days, which gives you 67,500 words by the end, which is something I can realistically shoot for. I've done it before and it's been great.

Oh! I'm gonna look into that!! Yeah... I've got a hectic schedule too... Single mommy, full time job, part time school. Writing anything is an achievement. lol Might be laid off though. Maybe I can get it some writing during January. HA!
