Arrived Denver yesterday, met up with my sister Sheila whom I haven't seen for years. I didn't realize how much I'd missed her, until she was standing next to me.

After lunch, I returned to hotel room and logged on laptop to put out fires at day job (boo! hiss!) Then Sheila and I made our way over to Coors Field, where the Rockies slaughtered the Nationals, to the delight of the fans. Returned to hotel and was just about to crash when jpsorrow arrived.

Today it was off to the Convention Center to register, wander into the dealer's room, and then back to hotel for a couple of hours for the day job. Plus the changing of the roommates, as jennifer_dunne has now moved in, while Josh has moved on to greener pastures.

And tonight there's a brewpub in my future.

The nine beer sampler at the Rock Bottom brewpub was awesome. The lighter beers were fairly standard, but the IPA, red ales, brown ale, porter and stout were awesome.

Keep them in mind when you're out & about. The food was also very good-- I had the salmon fish & chips last night. Mmmm.
