Here's my Denvention schedule, as it stands for now.

Tuesday: Arrive Denver
Meet up with sister. Attend Rockies baseball game.

Thursday 2:30 PM
Reading (Planning to let audience decide which book I'm reading from)

Thursday 5:30 PM
Torchwood: Doctor Who for Grownups? (Moderator)

Friday 11:30 AM
Urban Fantasy: Still Room to Grow?

Saturday 4:00 PM
Would you care for a little SF in that? Blurring Genre Lines (Moderator)

I'm pleased with the schedule-- enough events so I feel like an active contributor to the con, while still allowing plenty of time to attend interesting program items and meet up with friends. And my sister is planning on coming for at least one day of the con, to see what it's all about, so I'll be showing her around.

Re Torchwood: but what if my impression of the Torchwood characters is that they're less grown-up than (say) Martha or Donna in Doctor Who? :-) :-)

Seriously, those all sound like great panels, and they're going on my to-attend list for Denvention.

:-) And of course it also depends on whether you are speaking about Classic Who or New Who. In Classic Who, the Doctor's past companions included children.

It should be a lot of fun.
