--If suricattus had brought a case of Asus EEE PC's with her, she could have sold them all. I'd like mine in black, please.

--I get the best story ideas at cons. I also need to train myself to write them down immediately, especially if the aforementioned ideas occur while I'm in the bar.

--Patricia's rule of cons states that at every con there will be at least one person that you really want to spend time with, but you will only see them when you're both dashing off elsewhere.

--Zombies need brains. By Monday morning, there will be none to be found.

A more coherent post later, when I'm not compensating for lack of sleep by overly caffeinating myself.

And I bought an EEE pc just for scribblin' and I love it. (Especially at that price).

I didn't bother getting one with a webcam (I have no great desire to appear on screen *g* - but if I'd waited, I might have got one of the new bigger-screened ones.

No complaints, though. It does exactly what I need it to.

what you need to do is stop in the store and get the small three packs of the very slim moleskin notebooks - they are very very wee - you can put them in your pants pocket without making a bump. Perfect for those random idea moments.

As for the dashes and meeting with people. that is why librarians use twitter at conferences.
