Pocket program is now up on the web here http://www.balticon.org/b42_pocket_program.pdf. Appears to have been minor changes since the prelim schedule-- for instance [livejournal.com profile] suricattus and I are now autographing at 5PM on Saturday.

I'm getting the distinct feeling this will be the last Balticon I do unless there is a massive turn-over in the personnel there.

Here is is Tuesday before the show. I was never officially notified I was a guest - although I did get an e-mail asking what panels I might be interested in being on - and now, they're posting the "final schedule" without telling panelist (or maybe just me) ahead of time to ensure there aren't any conflicts.

I hate to lose a "local" show, but MarCon in Columbus, OH treated me a hell of a lot better when I was just a no-nothing comic book self-publisher. It might be worth the eight-hour drive to, oh I don't know, have fun? *mutter, mutter, cuss, spit*

Sigh. Most people I know didn't hear that they were on programming until they sent in "Hey, am I on programming?" emails over the last few days.

Interesting. They were able to change that, and add me to an already crowded panel on self-promotion (ironic, that), and yet still left me on all the panels they put me on that have absolutely nothing to do with my interests or experiences...

Ah, Balticon. Your bar had better be good.

I had exactly the same reaction to the 5PM time slot-- a much better time for us to take advantage of proximity to the bar.

For the record, the New Media track chaired by Paul Fischer seems to be running better. :D For what it's worth :P

Patricia did you see the spot on the map where it says you're giving autographs? Down the hall away from the Garden room near the stairwell... how accurate is that?

No idea if that's really where we'll be or not :-) I figure there ought to be signage out by Saturday, and no matter where we wind up signing, by virtue of our presence it will become a bar :-)
