Weekend report

They call me...

*sigh* Actually no one calls me Iron Man. But I did get to see the movie, twice. Sunday's audience was definitely geekier than Saturday's, and broke into spontaneous applause several times.

Didn't get as much done around the house as I wanted to, nor I did I accomplish much writing wise. But after a week away at class, it's not surprising that I'd hit brain-full overload. Hoping for a few quiet days to get back in the groove, before the craziness hits at the end of this week.

ETA: Still waiting to see the STARK CAN HAZ CHEEZEBURGER icons. I know they must be out there.

Twice! I'm envious. Not too envious, because I decided to go to other movies instead of seeing it twice, but still! Envious!

Second time I stayed through the credits and was duly rewarded. First time we left as soon as the movie was over, but Sunday's companions ranked much higher on the geek-in-the-know scale :-)

I hadn't really planned on seeing it twice, but had made plans to see it with friends who were on different schedules so it just worked out this way. And after a fairly slow winter, it looks like there are quite a few must-see movies coming up for the summer.

Yeah, this summer makes up for several years worth of not-so-inspiring summer movies, as far as I'm concerned. I haven't had a "must be at the movies next weekend" lineup like this for aaaaaaaaages. I'm totally looking forward to rolling around in it all. :)

The credits were worth it. Oh yes. SEQUEL. *squee*

And its gonna be a busy summer indeed. I am tempted to watch all the IJ movies before the next one comes out.

And today Marvel announced Iron Man 2, scheduled for release April 30, 2010.

I do believe he and Paltrow, at least, both signed on for 3 movies. I know she did, unless the interview with her I read was *lying* to me. *looks nervous*! :)

I did see an an announcement yesterday from Marvel studios that verified that downey, at least is in the the next Ironman movie. I assume that means he is the avenger movie scheduled for 2011 that includes Ironman as well.

It took me a bit to place Paltrow - its been a while since I have seen her in anything!
