Well it's time to retire this icon

I was glad to hear that the strike is over and the writers are back to work. While the new contract isn't everything they hoped for, it's movement in the right direction.
Looking forward to new episodes of Criminal Minds, CSI and Heroes, whenever they make it back on the air.

I did pick up one new obsession during the strike--Top Gear on BBC America, because they're just plain nuts.

It's such a cool show. It's hard to pick a favorite although their "space shuttle" launch was unbelievable.

I'm glad the strike is over, but I'm glad they striked - not just so they could get a better contract for themselves, but also because Channel Ten over here had to greenlight a lot of Australian content to fill the gaps and a comedy current affairs program that was a favourite of mine way back when was brought back to air after 7 years in cancelled TV-show limbo :D
