If you're listening to language instruction lessons each broken into multiple tracks, it's best to turn off the shuffle feature on your audio player. Otherwise you'll find yourself really, really confused.

If it looks like rain and sounds like rain and it's January in the Northeast--it's probably black ice forming on the roads that will add that extra special touch to your morning commute.

The reason why you should put a band-aid on a papercut isn't because you're a wimp--it's because there's never just one. Gave myself three papercuts on that same finger before I finally wised up. Considering I may need to put on gloves before I sort through the rest of the stack papers.

Normally I don't have a problem, but the heavyweight manuscript paper gets me every time.

Yuck. On the other hand, at least you don't live in Calgary, where (according to my mom, whom I spoke to a couple of hours ago) it's -35C.

Well, where's the snow, I wanna know. I started out for work, turned around, then went back out an hour and a half later. The roads were still bad, but drivable if your careful The main road might've been clearer, but I took the back road on the grounds that no one else would, so I'd only need to worry about my driving.
