Returned from WFC last night where I had a great time. It was the usual WFC chaos--managed to catch up with many people and made new friends, but there were also folks that I wanted to spend time with and somehow never managed to hook up with, other than to wave at them in passing.

Returned to massive amounts of work for the day job, not to mention classwork and oh, yes, the revisions for THE FINAL SACRIFICE are due within the week. Will post more on WFC later, when I can catch my breath.

Great seeing you again! I'm in the same boat... returning to loads of work, but all I really want to do is sleep.

If they turned out the lights, I'd be asleep here at my desk.

*waves*

Sorry we never got the chance to catch up for more than a minute or two.

Me too :-(

I'm bummed about that. Next con we're both at, we'll have to set up a definite meeting time so we don't miss each other.

But -- but -- that would make sense!

Yes, we should. Which will probably be next WFC, the rate things are going. Assuming you're going to Calgary.

Calgary is a maybe at this point--a lot depends on the dayjob, since scheduling time off at the end of a month is problematic. As it is, I wound up having to spend Friday afternoon holed up in the hotel room on the company laptop, rather than enjoying the con.

Any chance you guys getting to Denver? My sister lives there so that's a must go :-)

Speaking of day job, can I have my brain back?
I kind of need it, and when I got back and was unpacking (though not the boooooks yet) I couldn't find it anywhere. Since you're the only one who expressed an interest in it, I was wondering....

*burps, then looks shifty*

Brain? Um, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Honest.

Neither do I anymore, what with my missing brain.

There's a decent chance of Denver -- driving there, we can stop in Santa Fe to visit the parentals. But we haven't decided for sure yet.

So great to meet you, if only for a moment in the art room! Sorry if I was less than animated; I'd only had 3 hrs. sleep for the previous 3 nights. Either that, or it must have been the zombie juice. ;)

Best,
Tiffany Trent

I know just how you felt--Friday was my day for wandering around the con in complete zombie mode. Glad that we at least got to say "Hi!" Hopefully next time we'll both be more awake.
