1,000 words written today, an auspicious start for the new project. I've also started another round of novel_in_90 to help me keep it on track.

Don't be impressed--they're the same thing:-) I'm trying to attack the new project on the Nin90 timeline, and will see if that works.

When I did Nin90 this summer it was for a book that was already underway, and was part of a series where the majority of the worldbuilding had already been done. Not sure I can keep up the schedule when it's a brand new project, with tons of research and world-building that needs to happen, but we'll see.

It's tough, and everyone has their own pace. My average has been one book a year, but if I could write a tad faster it would help my career.
