Looking over the list, I can see how many of these movies I caught during the first years I had cable, when I went on a spree of watching westerns on TBS and classic movies on AMC and Bravo.

Wow, I've seen a whole 17 of them XD!
Some of those films (mainly the classics) belong on the list, but some of them (in my personal opinion) really don't. I think Snow White would belong, as the first full-length animated motion picture it's a hallmark of modern animation and the Walt Disney enterprise... And Titanic, yeah, I suppose that gets to be there.

IMO, but...Toy Story? If Toy Story gets to be on that list, then Jurassic Park should be there too :P It pioneered the use of complete cgi to render realistic movie monsters, and I think it's just a generally awesome film, and a few years ahead of its time.

And I wonder which King Kong they mean?

That's why I didn't bother picking my top 10, since at least half of them aren't on this list.

Taking the easier way to do this:

Top of their pick:

66. Raiders of the Lost Ark
88. Bringing Up Baby
44. The Philadelphia Story
3. Casablanca
89. The Sixth Sense
83. Titanic
31. The Maltese Falcon
13. Star Wars
5. Singin' in the Rain
16. Sunset Boulevard
28. All About Eve
12. The Searchers
25. To Kill a Mockingbird
6. Gone with the Wind
7. Lawrence of Arabia

Second Tier:

22. Some Like It Hot
61. Sullivan's Travels
45. Shane
46. It Happened One Night
68. Unforgiven
47. A Streetcar Named Desire
55. North by Northwest
62. American Graffiti
65. The African Queen
73. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
26. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
27. High Noon
36. The Bridge on the River Kwai
38. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
39. Dr. Strangelove
24. E.T.
81. Spartacus
86. Platoon
87. 12 Angry Men

They got these just wrong:

50. The Lord of the Rings -- ALL (I mean, how can you do just one?)
60. Duck Soup -- No, Night at the Opera -- Duck Soup only has moments
90. Swing Time -- No, Top Hat or A Gay Divorcee,
97. Blade Runner -- Only if it's the director's cut

MIA:
Beauty and the Beast (Disney doing Disney's best)
The Incredibles (the real best of Pixar's best)
She Wore a Yellow Ribon (John Ford, John Wayne, and it doesn't get better)
Iron Giant (the movie Warner-Bros couldn't figure out how to market)
The Uninvited (a movie I still can't watch alone in the house)
Serenity (just because)
The Mummy (it keeps up with the Jones and then some)
The Mummy (with Boris becasue it's creepy as hell)
Chocolat (which defines yummy)
Enchanted April (a perfect gem)
Gosford Park (Altman's real masterpiece)
Henry V (both Sir Larry and Branaugh's versions)
Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare done beautifully)
Shakespeare in Love (for utter brilliance in a script)
Moulin Rouge (for dance that sets the celuiod on fire)
Band Wagon (see above)
An American in Paris (also see above)
The Black Swan, The Pirate and Pirates of the Caribbean (triple the fun)
Harvey (because I still laugh and I know what's coming)
Laurel and Hardy (pick any short)

Them's the basics.
