Back from Wiscon where a good time was had by all. Better yet, no one came down with a case of con crud (knock on wood), which is really amazing.

Madison is a great city, and the con was an interesting change from most other cons that I've been to. You can have conversations at Wiscon that you just don't have at any other con, and I met great folks who I wouldn't have otherwise, since they don't frequent east coast cons.

The downside, of course, is the travel. Plane flights are $, and they suck up time, since it's not easy to get anywhere from Binghamton. If Wiscon were within driving distance, I would make it an annual event. As it is, I'll have to think about next year.

Now it's back to the day job and gearing up for novel in [livejournal.com profile] novel_in_90.

Sounds like fun. Wish I could have been there--maybe another year.

Wish I could've been there. I hope you can come next year, but I understand the travel issues.

I'm debating <"novel_in_90"> as a way to jumpstart GIDEON, or maybe get a novella completed.

I'm not sure if it will be inspirational, or just another venue where I can crash and burn when I don't meet the word count. But I figured it doesn't hurt to give it a try....
