And it's still rain, for the moment

So far the precipitation continues to fall as rain. It's rained hard today, so there are already standing pools of water in my backyard.

If it continues as rain, I'll get water in the basement.

If it turns to snow, I can expect a foot or more of wet, heavy snow to shovel tomorrow.

Tis a dilemma. Guess there's nothing left to do but grab some more chocolate, another glass of wine, and say "Hey, it's springtime in the Northeast."

P.S. Showing that discipline is indeed taking over my brain, when I heard that the snow originally predicted for midday wasn't going to arrive until nightfall, I realized that I could go to the gym after all. And I did.

P.P.S. At least I can take comfort from the fact that according to the meme in jpsorrow's LJ, I'm 100% evil.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind rain either. I've gotten pretty good at mopping up the basement :-)
