Bye-bye weekend, it was nice to know you

Yesterday was my first bike ride of the season. I'm in better shape than I usually am at this time of year, although my allergies objected fervently to the combination of spring pollen and industrious homeowners out mowing their lawns. Still I wound up riding twice as far as I'd planned, since all mechanical and biological parts were in decent working order.

Today was a washout with rain on and off all day. A good day for running errands and spending time in the library doing a little fact-checking. Now it's time to settle down with a stack of bills and catch up with the Amazing Race.
