THE SEA CHANGE is the title of my next release. And, according to Google, it's also the name of a 1998 British romantic comedy directed by Michael Bray (no relation).

Actually I was surprised that I didn't have more competition in books for TSC, though I've heard through the grapevine that another author is currently working on an SF book with that title.

Robert B. Parker released a book last year called SEA CHANGE, but it's a mystery so won't be confusing to SF fans.

My first published novel was a Regency romance entitled A LONDON SEASON. There had already been at least two romance novels with that title by the time mine came out in 1997.

The one word titles are the worst, in my opinion. Those get reused all the time.
