A quiet weekend so far as I rotate between my four authorized locations in the house--in bed sleeping, in recliner with foot elevated, on couch with foot elevated and at kitchen table with foot elevated.

Fortunately I've had a most charming companion to spend the weekend with--Theo Waitley of FLEDGLING and SALTATION by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. Last night I stayed up after midnight reading, because every time I tried to close the book and go to bed, I wound up immediately reopening it, and couldn't stop until I'd finished.

The internet remains a comfort and distraction. I've ventured over to BN.COM and ordered more books for the TBR, including some of the suggestions from LJ, as well as the DVD set for Once Upon A Time In China which seems right up my alley. And Staples.com is dispatching paper and toner (friends are delivering groceries but it seems tactless to ask them to fetch office supplies, even if they are desperately needed.)

Also working on the current proposal, incorporating suggestions from Madame l'Agent, and I hope to be able to inflict this upon share this with the writers group at our next meeting.

And now it's time for another cup of coffee, and to hunt down my red pen.
