Jun. 25th, 2008 11:47 amThe booksigning yesterday at Flights of Fantasy was a great success. My thanks to Maria Perry and the folks at LASTSFA for being such generous hosts.
As expected, the cats stole the show--one leapt up on the table during my reading, first attempting to steal a binder clip, and then settling for the plastic cap to my water bottle, bearing his trophy off with great glee. The audience seemed equally pleased with the reading and the cookie platter I'd brought up from Purple Awning Pastries in Endicott. After signing numerous books, and catching up with friends, we packed up and reached home before the pumpkin hour.
