Feb. 20th, 2005 07:31 pmHousehold chores piled up, but I did manage to write, and to catch up with Jennifer
jennifer_dunne who returned from Florida yesterday. I was taking care of Jennifer's cat during the week, and the cat stayed true to form. She's good for a few days, but by day six without her regular human she starts getting cranky and begins to make her displeasure known.
Writing: 2,220 words today. We discover just what Lady Ysobel is doing with those pretty boys, and the fine art of bargaining so the other side believes they are getting the advantage.
Listening: Steve McDonald's Legend and Devotchka's How it Ends.
Reading: Venice, a maritime republic by Frederick Lane, and Roman Cookery by Mark Grant. I'm the second person to check out the Venice book since the central library acquired it in 1974, but somehow I suspect that they'll still want it back.
