Note to self
Feb. 16th, 2005 11:31 amSpecial note to self. It is February. It would be wise to check the weather forecast before leaving the house. This way you would not be surprised when you look out your office window and see snow pelting down. The 2-4 inches of snow expected to fall during the day could thus be prepared for by wearing boots and other appropriate winter gear.
Reread the scene I wrote on Sunday night and found I liked it better now than I did then. I think my feelings were a case of "writer's remorse." No scene on paper is ever as good as it was in your head. It's not unusual for me to completely despise something I've just written, only to pick up the scene a few days later and say "Hey, you know this isn't bad."
Put together a photo gallery for my characters that I posted over my computer, to keep from losing track of their descriptions. Of course it doesn't help that one of the main characters is completely confused over his own appearance. I have to remember what he looks like, even when he can't.
