I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream

It's pizza and margarita shooters time as I finish up the Farscape essay. This weekend is marathon writing sessions combined with final round of DVD watching.

Up until now I was pretty much a low-tech DVD user. I popped in the DVD, pressed play and watched the movie in sequence. Now I'm relishing the ability to jump to specific scenes, and diving into the extra features for insights into the show.

On a related note, watching hours of Farscape every night is guaranteed to give you strange dreams. And I'm starting to think there ought to be an all Scorpius/Harvey remix version of the DVDs. Similar to the all-Spike remix of Buffy, which I've wanted for years.

I've also been collecting Farscape quotes. The infamous "You can't outrun a commander carrier" was repeated throughout the first two seasons, only to be replaced by variations on "We're all going to die," which expressed the crew's unwavering faith in whatever scheme they were pursuing at the moment. You could always trust our friends on Moya not to sugarcoat the situation.

Crichton: "That's your plan? Wile E. Coyote could come up with a better plan than that!"

And on that note, I'd best head back to writing.
