Crackers don't matter
Jan. 26th, 2005 09:31 amDeep in the throes of plotting out the Farscape essay. It's been a long time since I've written nonfiction of this length. I have lots of ideas for a 500 word piece, and could probably write an entire book if I used all the notes I've made. But pulling the ideas together to create something coherent in the 4K word range is proving a challenge.
It would be easier if I didn't care so much. If I was writing an essay about a show I was merely fond of, say Stargate SG-1 or Monk, I'd be able to knock this off in a couple of hours. But this is Farscape. Farscape is important. I've got to get this right, for myself as much as for the readers.
Must be very very busy. And productive, since the essay is due February 1st.
