Picked up a catalog for this fall's community educaction classes offered by the local community college. Was considering brushing up on my Spanish, but these gems caught my eye:

The Art of Hiring Someone to Write Your Book. Hmm...

Literature for Leadership. A management course discussing Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, Notes from Underground by Dostoevsky, Antigone by Sophocles, Glengarry Glenn Ross by David Mamet. Actually this one sounds interesting.

Angel Secrets From the course description: "Techniques (meditations, board and pendulum, sense memory, and automatic "hunt and peck") for contacting the angelic world. Along with other courses on related themes including Contacting Your Spirit Guides & Angels, Astral Travel: How To Induce Out-of-Body Experiences, Connecting With the Other Side, Past Lives and the Lives Between.

Sounds a lot like our community college's nonfiction offerings! I'm pretty sure they offer classes about angels, too.

OTOH, I'm told their psychic cold reading class--which was pretty much about how to fake a psychic reading--was lots of fun. :-)

So was their survival with nothing class, which lnhammer and I took some years ago. How to start fire and make rope and craft your own stone tools!

I'd love to take that kind of survival course. There's one offered periodically up in Ithaca (about an hour away from me) but I usually wind up hearing about it afterwards.

It was fun. More an introduction than enough to really survive in the wilderness with nothing, but definitely a good start!

Oh, you left out the best one... in the tradition of What's Your Line (or is it What's My Line?), an interactive improv with (wait for it)... Angel Anne, who the course leader channels via automatic writing. Class participants will set up the scenarios, then Angel Anne will "act out" a skit. Anne describes herself as "I PSYCHO ANGEL" (she apparently only speaks in all-caps, and her otherworldly knowledge does not extend to grammar) and urges people interested in having fun to follow her.
