Yeep update

For those following the saga of jennifer_dunne, she's improving slowly, but was given orders for bed rest through the weekend, ensuring that her leg is kept elevated. If she doesn't improve the next step is being admitted to the hospital for treatment, so she's doing her best to comply.

She's pretty bummed that she won't be able to make it to BEA. And bed rest means vastly reduced computer time, so don't expect to see her on email or livejournal for a while.

She's okay--just really, really bored. Having to spend most of the day with your leg elevated above your heart means she's pretty much immobile on either the bed or the couch. Lots of reading and catching up on DVDs so far. jpsorrow and I are taking turns dropping by to amuse her.

Hopefully she'll improve over the weekend and be able to spend a little more time in a semi-vertical state.
