Turned in the interview for the Bantam Spectra newsletter today. My favorite question:

(Describe your) Writing habits:

Open wordprocessor. Open Freecell. Alternate between the two until day's writing goal has been achieved, or CD player has looped back to the first CD, indicating it's time for a break.

Mine's Solitaire, but otherwise...well, I need a multi-cd stereo. Actually, I just need a stereo. :)

Solitaire is also much goodness.

Last year I treated myself to a 5-CD player for my office. My previous method had been to load up the CD player in the living room, then set the volume to "teenager" so I could hear the CD's in the writing room....

Brew coffee. Drink coffee. Sit in dark room. Wait for visions to come.

Ah, yes that would certainly cause visions.

Your method of work is similar to how I write papers. It can lead to some really long writing sessions....
