Health fair today at work, and I went with a friend for the annual cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose tests. My results were excellent, but for the first time ever one of my friends had a better total cholesterol number than I did. This brought out my competitive nature as I immediately began thinking "How can I get this even lower?"

Never mind that my good cholesterol rocked, and I checked to confirm that I beat this person in every other category. It's not enough, so now I'm busy plotting strategies so I can win next time.

Who needs Ticket to Ride, when there are perfectly good health stats lying around waiting to be beaten?

I think I need a hobby.

*laughs out loud* My family and I were talking about the nature of my competitiveness after someone told me I was a type A personality and I sort of went, "...well, huh, yeah, I guess so," about it, but gosh, I think you got me beat.
