In other writing news, thanks to
kaygo for the reminder that National Novel Writing Month is rapidly approaching. I know people who swear by this as a way to get their writing kick-started. Every year I think about it, but November is never a good time for me. This year I've got WFC and an out of town business trip in the first two weeks of November. But I'll see what I can get done with the rest of the month.

Anyway, there's a big REI-type store near the hotel where warm weather stuff can be got in emergencies, as well as campus stores for sweat shirts and such. A GAP and a Lands End Outlet.
But seeing where you live, you probably have all the gear you need. it's just a question of packing it.
