pbrayMy perfect record is broken. After weeks of searching, today I went in to a store where surprise, surprise, they actually had something I liked in stock. It's a bit bigger than I originally wanted, but still small enough to fit on top of the bookcase, so life is good.
The CD loading mechanism is a riot-- a panel drops down and this mouth opens up, ready to be fed. You can even load in new CDs while one is playing. And it came with a remote, which is something I'll really use (not!), seeing as the stereo is all of three feet away from my writing desk.
Writing: 1,837 words today. Short scenes, but moving the plot forward. Didn't reach the kidnapping yet, but that's coming.
