I used to work in Leicester. In the council's defence, it's a rather dispersed city. It would be hard to defend in those circumstances.

I hope you're now living in a more defensible area :-)

And I admire the council for admitting that they don't have a zombie defense plan. Such candor ought to be encouraged in government officials. Most other councils refuse to address the topic at all, keeping their shameful lack of planning hidden from public view.

Oh, Cambridge is even worse. Very flat, and we live right on the edge. On the other hand, we do have the marquis' sword collection.
