Friends in low places

pbrayYesterday five of the Ur-bar authors descended upon Flights of Fantasy where Maria Perry, her staff and the folks of LASTSFA treated us wonderfully. What author wouldn't like a signing where pizza, snacks, wine, beer and mead were provided?
Benjamin Tate, S.C. Butler, Avery Shade, Jackie Kessler and myself each read excerpts from our stories. Then Joshua Palmatier (who'd hitched a ride with Benjamin) and I talked about the process of putting together the anthology, while the authors shared their perspectives on what it was like to work with us (group consensus was that Benjamin is a prima donna.)
A good time was had by all, then it was time to pile in the car and head back home. But not before signing copies for stock, so if you'd like a copy of AFTER HOURS: TALES FROM THE UR-BAR signed by all six of us, drop by the store or visit their website at www.fof.net. Flights of Fantasy also has autographed copies of our other books, including hard to find titles.
