naomikritzer has the best idea ever for dealing with the current economic uncertainty.

It really adds to lunch table discussions when I can say things like "I'm not going to check my first quarter 401K statement because I'm worried about the zombie apocalypse" and "Well, I was going to buy a new car but then I remembered the zombies."

But actually tried that today (really!) the person just ignored me. Of course, we all think he never listens to a word anyone says, so maybe that's just proof.
