Jennifer Jackson (aka arcaedia) made the list of the top 20 movers and shakers in science fiction. She's the only agent on the list.

Yup, that's my agent. I feel cool just by association.

She's open to queries, but as you'll see from the statistics that she posts on her blog each week, she's very selective about what projects she asks to see and the clients she takes on. It's not just that you need to send her a great story, but it also has to appeal to her, which is where it gets subjective.

That said, when you're ready to start querying, there's nothing wrong with starting with your number one choice, whomever that may be.
