pbrayThe FAA has approved the Terrafugia flying car. For a mere 200K you can "Simply land at the airport, fold up your wings, and drive home."
According to their website, I can get my sport pilot's license with as little as 20 hours of flight time.
The key, of course is not folding up your wings and driving off. It's the ability to unfold your wings and launch yourself over a traffic jam... something I suspect the FAA and the highway patrol would both frown upon.
