THE SEA CHANGE was released into the wild today. Go forth and multiply, young book!

This part never gets old.

And while you're shopping, Elizabeth Bear ([livejournal.com profile] matociquala) and [livejournal.com profile] scott_lynch also have new books out today from Bantam Spectra. Make it a threesome!

oh thank god. But now I need to go back and re-read the first book to remember all that happened.

Dammit, I still have just a few more chapters left to re-read in Game of Thrones (I am trying to re-read those 4 before the 5 th book comes out, but you know him, that could be whenever...)

Must read faster.....

Yeah, me too! Really want one of those time-turners to cram extra reading time into my day.

Found Sea Change at a Roanoke Barnes and Noble on Saturday.
Found Scott Lynch's new book today.
Pretty sure I have Elizabeth Bear's new one also.

Life is good.

You'll be happy to know your solicitation on LJ sold at least one copy of each book. Amazon says they'll be mailed within the week. I can't wait.

well. that was an interesting mental image.

I've always wondered what the books get up to in that back room.

Excellent to see you as well. Enjoy your day off!

Very cool. I'll probably wait till WFC to pick it up, just to mess up your head. And that way I can make sure I get it autographed.

Tried to buy your book... really tried... but the bookstore had SOLD THEM ALL!!!

So I bought the Scott Lynch, Michele Segara, and Sara Monette (which names I have probably just massacred).

Now, to finish my own book, so I can READ!

Sounds like a plan to me. Feed me a scotch first and who knows, my signature might actually be legible!

It's tough when the store staff are also fans and scoop up the copies first :-)

Hee! Hopefully that's where the "multiply" part comes in.

book had damn well better multiply. it will be rather hard to sing its praises to anyone who chances through the fantasy section if i have no book to lovingly place into their hands.
though, when we get more in, it will be harder to taunt [livejournal.com profile] libwitch about my having a copy. and i do so love a good taunting.

those books...there are times when i walk into the back room, then just kinda back out and close the door. the things those books get themselves into while the staff is on the sales floor... walking in on them is an occupational hazard.

The only problem: it was way too short!
