Report from the trenches of democracry
Nov. 4th, 2008 08:52 amPolling places opened at 6AM. I signed in at 8:15 AM and was voter #93 on that machine. There were three people ahead of me, and it took less than ten minutes for me to sign in, wait for my turn at the machine, vote and then leave.
When I left there were 3 or 4 people behind me, waiting their turn, and the other two machines had similar lines. Mostly older voters, which is in keeping with the makeup of the neighborhood.
