Notes from a Galley Slave, Part 2
May. 10th, 2007 10:21 pmI'm a tad obsessive when it comes to packaging, and getting the galleys ready to be shipped to New York was no exception. Every seam and dimension of the shipping box is taped, sometimes double-taped, with super-strong clear plastic shipping tape.
Which, given my general level of coordination, meant I was leaving fingerprints all over the tape, carefully preserving them in the sticky film.
When I realized this, my first thought wasn't "This looks messy" but rather "I'm leaving trace evidence all over this package." I think that means I watch too much CSI.
