I have killed the beast
Dec. 16th, 2006 06:41 pmFinished Christmas shopping today with a final swing through the box stores and run to the mall. Hit the bookstore for the second day in a row, but hey, that just shows how much smarter I am today than I was yesterday.
Now all I have to do is wrap all this stuff, pack it in boxes and drop them off at DHL on Monday. Thank god for the discounted shipping--it's usually cheaper for me to send packages overnight via DHL than it is to mail them priority mail. A lifesaver at this time of year.
Think I'll reward myself by watching my new DVD tonight. And I have the season finale of Dexter to look forward to tomorrow, along with the Dexter books that I've been holding on to so I could read them after the TV series was over. I'll be in southern Florida in a bit, and will have to resist the urge to ask my brother to drive me to see the crime scenes featured in the show. I'm sure I'd enjoy it, but my pre-school nieces would probably prefer a trip to the aquarium.
