A new Swedish Library project lets you borrow a person. This adds a whole new dimension to the term library research.

And why settle for a treehouse when you can build your own castle in your backyard, complete with towers, drawbridge and a moat.

Today's entry, part 2

Well the earlier entry was interrupted by my computer frantically proclaiming that it had been infected by the latest variation of the w32.zotob.e virus, and that I needed to do something about this *right now*.

Reading: Enjoying Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara. One thing I like is how she's handled magic is this story. It's richly textured, and not just a tacked-on after thought.

Last night I bought Raven's Strike by Patricia Briggs which is going on the top of my TBR stack. Because of our similar names Patricia Briggs and I sometimes get each other's fan mail, and I've heard from more than one reader who bought one of my books because they had confused me with her. Luckily she's an extremely talented writer who also writes character-driven fantasy stories, so I haven't heard any complaints yet.
