All hail LATEOTTD

All hail Light At The End Of The Tunnel Day!*

Which means that today is the last of the scheduled 12 hour days (for a while.) Starting the day job at 6AM and knowing I won't be done for at least another 12 hours--possibly longer--takes a toll on everything else in my life.

Brief respite for next week and then I'll be doing the insanity of my normal job on top of training a new person in Argentina on System A and three people in Australia on System B. Anyone else notice the timezone implications? Lovely. But theoretically having additional trained support will make my life easier at some point.

*P.S. And if that light turns out to be a train? Cool. I like trains.

I laughed. And laughed.

Thanks, Patricia, I needed that.

Oh, and I sure hope that training new people doesn't mean you're training your replacements.

Glad to make your morning. I do like trains, saw one at lunch time (Norfolk Southern with three engines and long line of freightcars) and waved "Hi Train!"

Training someone to pick up backlevel stuff so I can work on new projects, plus the Australia team will be picking up overnight support since I refuse to work around the clock.

Jeez. I'm buying you a whole pitcher of beer at WFC.

Until then, virtual chocolate.

Thanks for the virtual chocolate. By WFC we will need beer.
