Murphy's law for authors
For those of us who hold down day jobs as well as this writing gig, there is a law that says that the time of maximum chaos and/or stress at the day job will coincide with the period when you most need to concentrate your efforts on your writing.
Usually the balance can be made to work, but right now between writing, day job, and getting ready for WFC, one of these things isn't getting done, and that's preparing for WFC. I'm planning on chucking a few things in a suitcase Wednesday evening and hoping for the best. If you happen to be going to WFC, don't be surprised by my zombie impersonation.
And now, back to the previously scheduled wordprocessor.
