You can't get there from here
The spare room is currently piled with items to be packed for the bike trip. It's a logistical challenge, as I am permitted a limited amount of luggage which must serve for for 7 days of biking (including gear to cope with a wide variety of weather conditions), plus the travel days on either side of the trip. The original suitcase & carry-on backpack plan has now been trashed by current events, so there is much rethinking required.
And I'm getting the feeling that in order to get through airport security I should have started standing in line two days ago....
Only good thing is that we have a direct flight from NYC to Calgary, so less chance of luggage getting lost en route. Still I won't be happy until we've actually landed in Calgary and retrieved the bike gear from baggage claim.

My coworker flew out to Italy at 6am today. Geesh. I am sure that was fun.
